This Privacy Policy explains how Achefor uses information on the main website at achefor.com — the directory, waitlist, and related pages. Match, Achefor’s soulmate-initial reading at /soulmate, has its own Match Privacy Policy.

What Achefor is

Achefor is a directory of aesthetic micro-apps, synastry tools, and digital curiosities. Some listings are live. Others are marked as coming soon. Match is a separate Achefor product with its own privacy terms.

What information the website collects

If you submit the directory email form, Achefor stores that email address so it can tell you when a directory app opens. Each waitlist record is stored as an email address with an internal id and the time it was created.

The homepage does not collect your name, date of birth, birth time, birth location, or payment details.

Achefor does not create a public account when you join the waitlist. There is no password. Admin sign-in is for the operator only.

The Achefor application does not store IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, device fingerprints, or advertising identifiers in its own data files. The hosting provider may keep ordinary server logs of visits. This policy does not describe those host logs because they are not controlled in the Achefor application code.

How that information is used

Waitlist email is used only to send you a message when a directory app opens, and to operate the waitlist. Achefor does not sell waitlist addresses and does not share them with other consumer sites as a marketing list. Work in Gibraltar is linked from the homepage as a separate site; joining the Achefor waitlist does not send your email there.

Cookies and analytics

The live website at achefor.com loads Google Analytics (gtag.js, measurement ID G-EM5MX14628). Google may set cookies such as _ga to measure visits. Achefor uses this to understand how people use the site. The preview site at dev.achefor.com does not load Google Analytics.

If you use Match and keep or unlock a reading, a signed achefor_member cookie may be set. That cookie is explained in the Match Privacy Policy. Admin sign-in uses a separate achefor_admin cookie for the operator only. Browsing the homepage does not set either cookie.

Third-party services

The website is hosted on Hostinger. Waitlist files are stored in Achefor’s data directory on that host.

Google Analytics runs on the live site, as described above.

Match may also use Stripe for paid unlocks and Zoho Mail to send reading emails. Those services are described in the Match Privacy Policy.

Achefor does not send directory waitlist data to an AI service.

Data storage and retention

Waitlist records stay until Achefor removes them. The application does not delete them automatically after a set period. If you want an address removed, email privacy@achefor.com and say you want to leave the waitlist.

Security

The live website is served over HTTPS. Waitlist data is stored as ordinary files on the host. The application does not encrypt those files at rest. Admin passwords are stored as a scrypt hash, not as plaintext. Achefor does not claim a security certification.

Your privacy rights

You can ask Achefor what personal data it holds about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion. Email privacy@achefor.com from the address you used, or include that address in the message. There is no self-service delete button on the website.

Children’s privacy

Achefor is not directed at children under 18. The directory waitlist does not ask for age and does not currently verify age. Do not submit an email if you are under 18. If you believe a child submitted an address, email privacy@achefor.com so it can be removed.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

If this policy changes, Achefor will update this page and the date at the top.
